Course structure
The first year of the degree program is strongly teaching-oriented. It includes the compulsory module in Advanced Theoretical Physics, the courses and examinations of the two Areas of Specialization and the Elective Area as well as the lab courses within the framework of the Practical Training modules. The courses for the Primary and Secondary Area of Specialization as well as the Elective Area can be chosen flexibly.
The second year of the program is more research-oriented. The students deal with current research questions in an Advanced Seminar and within the scope of the Introductory Projects in the third semester as well as in the Master's thesis in the fourth semester.
