Modules for old examination regulations

General Information

During the master's the student comes into contact with up-to-date research and widens considerably his/her knowledge and spectrum of methods. He specializes in two areas of physics and other disciplines outside of physics. An important element is the master's thesis in combination with two introductory projects where the student is directed towards the frontier of current research in his or her area of specialization. 

Practical courses, elective area, primary and secondary area of specialization and the thesis in combination with the introductory projects can be scheduled flexibly. The lectures advanced quantum mechanics and advanced statistical physics are only offered in the winter term.

For students still following the Old examination regulations MSc. Physics this page gives an overview over the required lectures, lab courses, seminars etc.
