This Studium Integrale event by the Department of Physics primarily addresses bachelor students who want to get to know more about possible professional fields of physicists. For this purpose, the Department of Physics invites working physicists to describe their respective professional field and career to interested students.

 
In the last semesters, we already had speakers from the industry (e.g. Ford, Bayer, Infineon), from management consultancies (d-fine, Finbridge), from the authorities (u.a. Umweltbundesamt, Bundesnetzagentur) and also from research institutions (e.g. DLR, Fraunhofer, Forschungszentrum Jülich). You can find the exact programs here: 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2023

Due to close relation, this event is also of interest for students of other natural sciences.

For specific questions or further offers on career orientation, we also recommend the propositions of the Professional Centers. In addition to interesting advanced training seminars and useful tips on applying, the colleagues from the Professional Center also offer individual coaching.

After a break due to Corona, we offer this course again every summer semester. Please register for this course in KLIPS and get the relevant information via ILIAS.
